Nichol's "Fire Your Boss" Coaching Scheme
- Category: Scammed
I am a single parent with a myriad of skills, talents, and abilities but I felt as if my skills weren't valuable.
It was a 90-day program that promised to generate at least $10,000 per month, if you followed their blue print.
In 2017, I attended the Power Networking Conference full of coaches and "millionaires." I attended a few breakout sessions with different speakers.
One speaker in particular offered differing packages in the eCommerce industry as an Amazon Seller. The package the was called "Fire your Boss". It was a 90-day program that promised to generate at least $10,000 per month, if you followed their blue print.
Unfortunately, I had no prior knowledge of business, what is takes to run a business, and specifically, no experience in the eCommerce industry. The program was designed for experts, or at least proficient business owners with some prior knowledge of eCommerce.
The program required me to open an LLC. I wish I had known to contact the Small Business Administration, because I started the business with nothing in place.
I was doomed from the beginning. I lost nearly $10,000 with this experience including flights, hotels, coaching and buying materials.
Coaches make promises that people new to business are too naive to know what is a viable expense and you should seek free resources to receive. Four years later, my business is still recovering from the devastation of wasted start-up costs.
